I choose London because I wanted to make sure that the students in my group improve their English and also because of what London has to offer culturally. We come from Veranopolis in Brazil, and the students in my group are in the teens (14 to 19 year olds). I managed to get 14 students for this trip, the students knew each other back home which helped a lot in getting the students activated and to build a group spirit.

During our 4 weeks in London we studied at London Study Centre, and where accommodated with host families provided by the school. A typical day involved in the group meeting in the morning for an activity followed by lessons at school in the afternoon. We had the opportunity to visit several places of interest such as British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby, St Paul's and many other places of interest. I also managed to organise full day trip to other cities in the UK such as Oxford, Bath, and Streatham Upon Avon. Being In London also gave us the opportunity to visit Paris for the weekend.

Although this was my first time in London and also as a group leader, I feel that this trip was a huge success and both the students and I enjoyed it. Studying at London Study Centre was a pleasure for us. The students improved their English a lot and the teachers were very helpful and creative in their classes. The staff were always ready to help in all that we needed. It was an experience we will remember forever.

"It was my first experience to take a group of 15 students, aged 15-16, to London and I guess it was success as we spent a wonderful week with the London Study Centre in March 2012. The centre offered us a well-planned schedule for the whole week. After three-hour studying the students were involved in various activities every day. Everyone enjoyed the sights of London and its museums, the Prime Meridian in Greenwich, a full-day trip to Windsor and Oxford. The staff in the London Study Centre is really friendly, all the student said that the teachers were cool and amusing. All of us got lots of positive impressions and would like to come back to the London Study centre again."
